Join Our Mental Health Group
Mental health care creates the foundation for people to rebuild their sense of identity, participate fully in legal proceedings, and navigate the challenges of displacement with greater resilience.
Collaborating for Care
We partner with mental health professionals to deliver evidence-based, culturally informed psychosocial care to people seeking asylum in Hong Kong.
Pro bono clinicians join a growing network of committed and like-minded professionals to help people recover from loss, displacement and experiences of violence, and deal with the ongoing stressors of seeking asylum.
At the heart of our approach is a Stepped Care model, which matches the right level of support to each individual’s needs, ensuring care is both tailored and clinically appropriate, and that resources are used wisely.
Our collaboration goes beyond a referral for services: we offer regular peer supervision, opportunities for professional development, integrated legal-psychosocial case management, and a chance to shape cross-sector improvements in refugee mental health care.

Mental Health Counselling
We invite clinical psychologists and counsellors to support displaced individuals through 1:1 therapy and group-based interventions.
Medico-Legal Assessments
Mental health professionals are instructed by lawyers to produce medico-legal reports for survivors of torture or other forms of severe harm, acting as impartial experts to assist decision-makers to make fair asylum decisions.
Other Healthcare Providers
We invite psychiatrists, general practitioners, and other healthcare providers to contribute their expertise, both through offering pro bono healthcare services and producing medico-legal reports.
NGO Partnerships
We strive to work collaboratively with NGOs in the sector to build a more integrated, systemic network of psychosocial care and support.
