Legal Help
USM - If you are seeking asylum (non-refoulement protection) under the Unified Screening Mechanism (USM), we can explain the process and help you consider your options. Depending on your situation, we may be able to help with case preparation and access to lawyers.
Immigration Detention - If you (or someone you know) are affected by immigration detention, we can help you understand your legal rights and options. If your detention was unlawful, we may be able to help you seek redress.
Departing Hong Kong - If you are considering leaving Hong Kong, we can help you explore your options, prepare paperwork and communicate with the relevant authorities to facilitate your departure.
Welfare Help
We can help you navigate social services to access housing, healthcare, dental treatment, education, banking, and basic necessities. If your asylum claim is successful, we can help with applications for permission to work.
Therapy
The effects of violence, displacement, and ongoing uncertainty can lead to psychological and physical symptoms that present significant challenges. We offer individual therapy that is tailored to you, so that you can manage your symptoms and recover your best self. We also run or help you find community groups where you can build confidence, well-being and meaningful connections.
